We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our refund policy for paid NMVTIS title reports is as follows:
Eligible for Refund
- The NMVTIS title report returned no data for the VIN you submitted (some very new, imported, or specialty vehicles may not have NMVTIS records)
- A technical error prevented the report from being delivered after payment was processed
Not Eligible for Refund
- The report returned data that you disagree with or find insufficient
- The report did not contain a specific record you expected (NMVTIS data depends on reporting by states, insurance companies, and other entities)
- You entered the wrong VIN (please verify your VIN before purchasing)
- You purchased a duplicate report for the same VIN
How to Request a Refund
Contact us within 24 hours of your purchase at scott@bluewatervision.net with:
- The VIN you searched
- Your Stripe payment receipt or confirmation email
- A brief description of the issue
Approved refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Free VIN reports use publicly available government data at no cost. No refund applies since no payment is made.
